I want more thumbs up

Whenever I come on this site I am deeply annoyed that I only get 2 thumbs up (I think) per user! I don't care about the thumbs down, but I want to be allowed to give thumbs up to anyone whose comment I like, laugh at, or agree with!

I've said this here before. I understand limiting negative feedback because of hateful trolls, but limiting the appreciation for others is just ridiculous!

I JUST WANT TO SPREAD THE LOVE FREELY!!!

    It's a shitty restriction.

    Maybe it's a way of trying to prevent people from using a second account to thumb up all their comments, but it's pointless for the general IIN population.

      Exactly! Some days a certain user, whether you particularly like them or not, is on a roll and writes several good comments that deserve appreciation and you just can't do it. Other times you just want to thumb up a comment as a thank you for the interaction between you and someone else. It really sucks and it's too few considering how many comments we read and write. HATE THIS!!
