I want to meet a girl from the states and move there

I’m from England and I’d love to meet a girl from the US and move over there to marry her. Maybe meet her on the internet or however. I worked with a guy about 15 years ago that met a girl from the US that met a girl on the internet, moved there to get married and stayed there ever since. I’d love this to happen is this normal?

    I dated a Welsh guy when I was 21, he was kinda crazy. Sometimes I'd get bored, because all he liked to do was sing, and play his guitar.

    I've always wanted a scottish husband for the accent and because I enjoy speaking english (english is not my mothertounge).
    I don't wanna leave my country though so he'd have to move to me... Too much hassle... Though I know it happens. A former friends ex-girlfriend met a guy from the UK and he moved here to be with her eventually. It's a lot of work though. First finding someone who's open to long distance... then agreeing on who's moving where... But not impossible!
