I want to move to canada or europe

I live in America and lived here my whole life. Everywhere I go online I hear Canadian people and European people saying that Americans are stupid and life is better over there in their own countries. It really makes me want to move. If I moved to Europe I'd go to Germany, Netherlands, or Sweden. The best places in Canada are Toronto and Vancouver. They have no violence, gun control, good education, and a high standard of living. I feel like I would be happier

Canada and europe have no violence? I think you'll find they do. Everyone thinks that where they live is better. I'm not saying don't go, but don't trust in generalizations like that so much.

As a Canadian i suggest Europe instead, but I also suffer from the grass is greener on the other side syndrome. Maybe Vancouver would be alright, it's beautiful but expensive.

oh god no, i warn, Vancouver is a terrible idea, you could come to Vancouver a millionaire and die a penny less shill in a cheap hotel. I had a friend who moved to vancouver coming with bright eyes and a degree and now live's in a crappy douplex where they RENT. I would consider Europe it may be expensive but at least you will have the ability to brag about your cottage in France, Italy, Spain, or England. Who in the world gives a dam about Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal, who doesn't live in Canada. Try Europe my friend.

I've been thinking about moving to Canada and going to college there. It is certainly better than me wasting years of my life stuck over here.

Can't say much of Europe but I will talk of Canada.

First off moving to Canada will grant you more freedom then the US.

The police are nicer, less gun crimes, people let you do what you want and in return you let them do what they want (within reason).

In Vacouver you are either rich or poor. There is no middle class. The weather is rainy but the mountains and sakura trees are beautiful.

Toronto is not a bad place to be.

    Not a good place either.

Toronto, is safer then dangerous places and not as fun as fun places. It's not as cold as cold places but often colder then other places.

So if you like average predictable normal then Toronto is your man.

Don't get me wrong you can have great parties in Toronto way more then other places but not as fun as other places.

Think more of Montreal is you can speak french or the Maritime Provinces.

I wouldn't say we (in the UK, that is, but it goes for anywhere in the world) have no violence. It rather depends what part of the country you live in. There are bad parts of everywhere, even Sweden and Canada. I think the education system is a little better here in that it's more secular, but it's got all the same problems in terms of prioritising test results which don't represent ability and poor resource allocation. Education seems better in Scandinavia and mainland West Europe, but don't underestimate the culture clash of living somewhere where your language isn't spoken.

Fat people love to make fun of skinny people for being "anorexic". Take a lesson from this, the most insecure people who have negative internal and subconscious views try to yell the loudest to put down other things. If Europe and Canada were so great don't u think all these people would spend less time on the internet bashing america. I'd say the best thing about these two places is the health care, but the rest is lost or gained. Like hiking? try out Can. Like history? try Europe. Do u like to keep up with the Jones's and have a bigger family? America is a good option. I've tried all there and they all have their positive and negative aspects.

Of course it's normal to want to move to Europe, but not because America is a stupid country, nor are the American people. So don't move here because of that, nor the Gun Control (I really wish we didn't have that), nor for the supposed lack of violence (we have violence just like America or Canada would).

Toronto is like the worst, most American-seeming place in Canada actually. Are you so set on moving to a city? If it's gotta be urban, try Montreal or Halifax. Montreal is NOT all French, and Halifax isn't as small as you'd think. If you want friendly, keep east in Canada. Trust me.

I've spent tons of time in Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax, but I don't live full time in any of them, so I'm not biased.

I agree that if you want to move somewhere on the west coast, Vancouver's your best bet. Avoid the prairies! Highest population of bigoted conservatives in Canada.

Montreal is metropolitan, Halifax is more down-home. Take your pick.

As a Canadian I will tell you that everywhere is like that, it's the human condition. I would personally recommend you leave America because I don't see a bright future for them, and Canada is a little better, but not much. Atleast if I break my arm here I don't put my family in debt.

Wow, you are really stupid. So someone told you that you were stupid and now you want to live with them? You are pathetic. You deserve to be spat at. I find it sad when someone doesn't have any self respect and if you cant respect yourself no one else should either. Have fun licking the boots of some Canadian and European while they step on you. So you are basically trash right? or Rubbish as the Brits like to say. You worthless scum.

Jesus, calm down! Speaking as a European (British), we don't all think America or the American people are stupid, maybe a very vocal minority do.
