I want to see who wrote story

I dunno how to see the posters identity, so I'm assuming that you can't. Isn't this a bit strange.. I understand it if people would like to stay anonymous but umm.. isn't everyone anonymous around here? =P When someone posts a story I would like to see who wrote it, so I can see his profile and compare his story to other stories that he wrote. If he usually writes real stories and 1 is a bit strange you could assume it's still real. But when he writes stories like, I was abducted by aliens, I'm addicted to eating rocks, then you know that all of his stories are probably fake..so I would like the writers username

    I only wish their age was available, but I'm fine with not knowing everything else. Knowing the story author's age would make a BIG difference in how I vote or comment on a question.

    its good the way it is to protect the posters privacy. it allows one to open up about themselves anonimously. If you do want others to see the stories you wrote , just go to the "My settings" page, click edit, and check, "Show my stories on my public profile". then people will know your stories, or just put your name at the end. It is normal human curiosity to want to know who wrote what. Im somewhat like tha, but in the same token, I respect ones privacy.

    I enjoy it the way it is - anonymous :) If it wasn't, then a lot of us wouldn't post some of the embarassing stories that we do.

    NO. It's way more fun the way it is. There are plenty of sites out there where you can see everyone's username, go use one of those if you don't like the way this one works.
