I want to sue an old woman for messing up my back

I was in the grocery store parking lot and an old woman had the audacity to ask me to help load a couple of pumpkins in her car. Well I said fine and she sensed I was angry and got scared but I already tossed one of the pumpkins in her trunk while she was picking up the other one. That's when I threw out my back.

I had to go back to my car to lay down and ended up having to pay for a chiropractor and pain medication. I want to sue the crap out of her. She's a local so I can probably find out where she lives.

    Yeah, I don't think you have a case, either. Sorry. As Mr.mr pointed out you had no obligation to help her. What I mean to say is that there was no contract where you are going to receive some sort of compensation or had any expectation of compensation. Also there were no actions in which she causes you to gain a lose. The lose and actio would be if she hit you with her car and you can't work. Anyway, I have a bad back and it goes out randomly. Last time was about 6 months ago, when I lifted my yellow lab into the bathtub. Best of luck to you and itmwas nice for you to help short people and lift pumpkins.

    nobody forced you to do jack shit. You have the option to walk right by and ignore. You chose to do what you did and it happened without anyone else touching you.

    My advice? Don't be so kind in public. It's 2015 bro, I don't hold doors for anyone and I sure as hell don't carry big bags of groceries for people.

    Try doing CPR on a person nowadays and YOU might get sued.

    Fuck you, you're an asshole. Sue her for what, asking for help? Did she make you help her? NO then shut the fuck up. You had absolutely no obligation what so ever to help her, you could have said no, it's not her fault that you hurt your back.

      Yeah well sometimes you just do things without thinking, that society expects you to do. I'm tall so I'm supposed to lift heavy things for people and get things for them from shelves that are too high to reach. So naturally when some old bitch who doesn't know me asks for help, I'll help her.
