I watch porn but not for the sex?

I've never been particularly interested in romance or sex. Compared to the average person I have a very low sex drive.

But I am a fan of comedy pornos, like "Lord of the G-Strings" and "Space Nuts." I will fast forward through the sex scenes and only watch the funny storyline bits.

This is partially because I have an immature sense of humor, and am a sucker for this brand of comedy. But more so it's the visual style.

Being so low budget, they have almost no CGI or green screens. (Except in scene changes or shots of the outsides of the space ships.) They use sets, props and costumes. And the costumes are not custom made; they seem thrown together from random but extravagant clothing pieces and jewelry, making them so unique and fun to look at.

Overall, it is an organic, artsy, playful style that sadly I have not seem in any "real" scifi or fantasy film since the 90s. Usually the only fantasy movies I like to watch are ones like "the PrincessBride," "Labyrinth," or "Dragonheart," movies from before 2000 when CGI took over. These porn parodies now seem to be the only movies left with that style, the only genre left that hasn't been hijacked by CGI.

Does anyone else watch pornos for these (or other) reasons, rather than their intended purpose? Or am I just an eccentric?

I personally watch porn for the dialogue and storylines, myself.

If you notice me masturbating, it's to the riveting plot.

  "Lord of the G-Strings:" A young Throbbit and her friends embark on a quest to destroy a cursed thong, aided by a drunk wizard and pursued by a wicked sorcerer who's magical farts can kill.
  
  "Space Nuts:" Princess Hubba Hubba from the Clitorian system seeks refuge from the evil empire aboard a space-casino called the S.S. Floating Balls.
  
  "One-Eyed Monster:" An alien energy force from the moon possesses Ron Jeremy's dick, causing the dick to detach and fly through the city, killing people.
  
  "Deadly Weapons:" An exotic dancer with abnormally large breasts sees her lover murdered by gangsters. She seeks revenge...using the only two weapons she has.
  
  And I did NOT make any of those up. (Though the summaries are mostly my own words.)

I've heard that creative people can find artistic value in almost anything, so you must certainly be creative if you watch porn for the art style instead of for the masturbation material!

I'm not sure if it's the same thing or not, but one of the biggest reasons why I enjoy my fetish is because it fulfills an emotional need (in addition to the obvious sexual need). It brings me a sense of comfort that almost nothing else can.
