Idealy humans to become the same color, or embrace differences in color

I of course hate the fighting amongst groups all the time, but I do kind of like a diversity of people but also an equality and sameness. Idk? Its tough.

if humans all looked the same there would be no problems 0
i like real diversity, and everyone remains different and we fight 1
skin color is meaningless, other problems are more important 3
if humans all looked the same, other differences would still have problems 7
i like real diversity, everyone remains different and we work it out 1

You think race is the ONLY thing people care about? Only the petty care about race as their sole divider.

Culture is a big one because they actually clash with other cultures.

Religion every religion wants to be number one. Some do it by being annoying other do it by trying to cut the others heads off, both are trying for the same goal.

Class, pretty much the center of all communist and socialist revolutions. Which then collapse when the same hierarchy forms again just from a different source than the original hierarchy. Same shit, different people.

Dont forget my personal favorite! Differing nations which can combine all 3 into a combination that is either very similar or completely opposite of what I stand for.

It's my philosophy that humanity will always be divided. Theres not gonna be a one world goverment, humans are WAY too single minded for group think. Which is good, sure it causes numerous wars and hatred but honestly that's what spirs advancement in humanity. Survival of the fittest/smartest/strongest/ ingenious/toughest all fighting a never ending battle for the "best". We will still make it into the stars but united is unlikely besides if there are aliens and I dont like our odds there.

It's ridiculous to think all people would suddenly be friends if we had the same skin color. It would solve a little bit since racism is a problem in some parts of the world. But people still have different values, different religious views, different personality, different living situations and social classes, come from different places and have overall different life experience. Countless other things can still cause conflict.

If we all looked the same the world would be so boring.

I enjoy the diversity in color, shape, size, etc.

While shape and size can affect athletic abilities; in the end its what's in the mind and the mental capability of the person that counts the most...

I do like people who have learned to think and can politely discuss various issues without getting upset.

I feel like I'm caught between a utilitarian and libertarian. People can do whatever they want and it will all work out because of economics and basic human nature.

I wonder what we are going to do about the 10% of people who are unable to pass the asvab test. Not saying the military doesnt have low standards but it says something for the mental capacity bottom 10%.

With further mechanization of our economy what jobs could that bottom 10% do?

I was in the US Navy at a time when the US Military recruited people who could not read, write, or even do basic arithmetic (post Viet Nam when Service members were not respected - and were spit on and called baby killers just for wearing the uniform - an experience I had several times).

While most of these people did not work out - some did.

We had a person in our engine-room who's nickname was Red, who was one of those.

Red found his life operating and maintaining steam propulsion and assorted equipment. We had to let him use a calculator to progress up in watch-station (he could not do the simple arithmetic that a throttle-man needed to do by hand); but, he was very good with equipment and had a natural feel for how to take apart and put together equipment.

Red was planning to make the Navy his carrier. However, he would have been accepted into the maintenance department of any power plants that I worked in or visited (I got a Mechanical Engineering Degree between the US Navy and most of my Power Plant experience). Limited academic intelligence at that.

On the other hand; someone in the engine-room also formulated: Davis's Law of Liquid Volume Displacement after observing Red many times in port.

Davis's Law of Liquid Volume Displacement: You (as in yourself) cannot drink a bar dry.

In college I got an interesting reaction from my physics professor when I asked him if he understood Davis's Law of Liquid Volume Displacement; and I then told him what it was.

At first he was highly offended. But, a few days later he told me that the more he though about it the more sense it made as though about a number of college students at the bars (and his own past experience).

However, he doubted that the Physics society would be willing to add that as a new Physical Science Law.
