A declaration of war against any state or states of the United States I’m pretty sure would simply be interpreted by the federal government as a declaration of war against the United States. Could a civil war also theoretically happen if some states didn’t want to participate in this war with Russia? Sure, anything is possible.
Could they do it? No not really, legally states dont work with other countries in a diplomatic sense. All foreign relations are the federal goverments problem. If a state succeeds from the union, they arent a state anymore. But that would be a very extreme action for a state to do over something as benign as a war. Plus 2/3rds of all states have to agree to that beforehand. As a state of the united states federation you have to contribute to the war effort.
