II ended up matching with someone that had the same name as one of my siblings recently.

Oops.

I wouldn't knowingly be with someone that shared a name with any relative (Even if it was a nickname, middle name or a foreign version of the name I know personally).

If it's a nickname the person you know doesn't use, OK 0
Stay if their name is a foreign equivalent of a name you know 1
Stay as long as it's only one or two names that are similar 1
Make them change it by deed poll, offer to pay 0
