If a person youve dated texts you privately to your cellphone on your birthday does that mean he wants to get back in touch? I know he's said he wants me in his life, but it's complicated because he has feelings for me he cant ignore to be just friends. And we have a hard time working things out as a couple for multiple reasons.
I'm not sure why he'd do this unless he misses me. He didnt wish me happy birthday last year and we have no contact.

    I'm making a few assumptions here, so I apologise in advance if I'm off the mark, but this sounds like something you should just ignore. Don't stress worrying about why they texted you. Just forget about it. Ex is an ex for a reason.
