  Yeah it would be like cutting off your nose to spite your face. I dont get the borderline genocidal hatred for California. Their leaders suck, welcome to the club. They are a proving ground on how to not run a state. Their usefulness outweighs their annoyance.
  
  Like if they seperated from the union I would 110% want them to be dragged back to the union. Being a state you can seperate but that does not guarentee that you wont immediately be declared war upon.
