Jesus loves all of us right but if he loves all of us why did he say gays are evil and they will go to hell? is this true?

    In my opinion, the torah, bible, quran or any other (really old) religious document is kinda like a really long game of telephone... Our generation is shouting out what we think is the answer when in reality, the answer could be something completely different!

        We have a bad priest problem around our area, you hear them at night prowling around, marking their territory, fighting with cats, there's one that gets confused by the movement sensitive light in our back garden so you often look out to see him frozen mid walk staring at the light confused.

        Luckily no-body's been taken in the wave of priests migrating though to get to London but there's still usually a few more weeks until they die down, most people have been safely locked in their houses as soon as it gets dark but I still worry

      It's funny, really. You made a statement, which is just entirely true. It is a fact. And yet somebody felt the need to thumb you down, because you - what? Offended their favourite fairy tale?

      Ridiculous that the sensitivity not to offend anyone seems to be more important than the truth to certain people.

    I find it funny how people react to groups like the Westboro Baptist Church when their views on homosexuals are, in fact, entirely biblical. The bible clearly states that gays are to be KILLED, yet people hate the WBC because they say "God hates fags"?

    If you abhor the WBC or staunchly support gay rights, that's quite fine with me (personally I'm an anti-Christian who's essentially indifferent to the subject of faggotry), but just try not to be so hypocritical; they attack gays because their religion basically commands them to.

    "These sickos obviously don't know what the church is all about!" Um, yeah, apparently they DO. Take a look at the bible and see for yourself.

      Though homosexuality is prohibited in the old testament it is completely not Christ-like to judge people. That is God's job--if you believe in the text.

      The part about homosexuality being an abomination is in leviticus where it also says you shouldn't wear mixed fabrics or eat shrimp.

      We ridicule them because they pick and choose what they take from the Bible creating stark contradictions.

    Jesus never said anything against homosexuality but it is implied in what he said....he was against fornication....which is sex b/t unmarried persons....since Jesus followed the mosaic laws only a man amd a woman could get married...also other books in the bible condemn homosexuality...he also talked about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah...which is known to have had homsexuality...however the Bible never explicitly condemns lesbianism...only male on male...was this intentional...probably not...the Bible was mostly written for men by men...but if you wanted to be a stickler you could say that it never condems girl on girl
