If someone online confines in you they are a pedo, or a murderer or a rapist should you report it? Also if you see this where should you go to report it. Is there a website you can send this type of information to?
Just speak to the police. It's their responsibility to work out whether the person was serious or not.

Assuming you mean confiDe, that is to tell something with the understanding that it's confidential. So I would not report it.
I would instead try to convince them to do the right thing... whatever I thought that was depending on the situation.
I think people should actually answer this question, or discuss it maturely.... rather than make fun of it.

I have wondered this, as well. I found just a little info- Apparently, you can report child predators online at http://www.missingkids.com/cybertipline/, or 1-800-843-5678.
I'm guessing the local police are not an option- regarding someone you met online, who is not from your area. But I could be wrong. Perhaps you could ask them anyway, if you're unsure. Or perhaps the FBI, but I am not sure when it is appropriate to contact them. If you encounter a serious situation or emergency, then contact them anyway (I assume). But I am not sure how to report sexually assault of adults, from a stranger online.
