If there is a god

Wouldn't he also be wondering 'who made me' just like the rest of us ??

  • Nobody needs to create you. You are simply in existence. No matter what may be around you, love, death, birth, the universe, you are existing and never cease to exist. Therefore, a God who creates everyone has created nothing, making him no God, but just another soul in perpetual existence.

Wait... what the fuck did I just write?

God to me is is hope, a simple lie that people tell themselves because they just cant except the fact that nothing happens when you die you just stop existing. God is used as a tool of fear and brainwash. Religion is the most evil thing in the world to me it is a liar, a thief, it causes so much animosity between people, starts so many wars and it will inevitably let you down. I grew up in a religious home and I truly feel anger at all the people who shoved their lies into a childs mind religion is disgusting it prays on the weak minded and fearful. Honestly if you look back on all "religion" it has evolved through time and eventually most peoples monotheistic religion will be called just what the Greeks, Norce, Roman, and Egyptians religion is called..... Mythology. By the way Stephen Hawking proved that the spontaneous creation of life and he believes he has disproved "god" two separate things though. I watch some religious channels late at night for some laughs because they always speak about god as if they know him and thats pretty funny to me but it all seems so cult like to me even the damn pledge which I refused to say all through High School. My girlfriend even drags me to her church every once in a while because she is worried I am going to go to Hell Idk am I really so crazy for thinking like this ??? diddnt mean to bash I just wanted to be absolutely honest about this subject because no one has ever seen it like I do.

    dude this is so weird
thats the question that always followed me
i am not religious orso but i think god is just a reasonable explaination for the unknown so people have something to hold on and feel secure
i dont want that and i dont need that either i have at least about like 60 years to live if i live healthy so i think they ll come with a better explaination

Most people believe in God because it is insane to think Nature just created a perfect set of life forms, people, trees, animals, viruses.. hell it is so detailed, to think of how are bodies work, how we see, hear, make sounds, think of our brains .. how can nature create such a thing from random events. for that reason (or lack of) people say, there must be a God.

BUT to think that mighty power that created ALL this just happened out of nothing is normal! and we should not question how God came to be

How brain dead must one be to submit to this theory. Why should anyone stop questioning the logic which is the only way our brain works.

i mean, if the lows of physics don't work one day in a year, i would say someone out there is messing with us. but logic prevails ALL the time, so this is the only way our brains get to understand something. when it comes to religion, we should stop the logic and just agree to believe in something that makes no sense.

The sad part is, no one knows.. this is why it is called belief.. if you believe in something it means you don't know for sure, that is why you say i believe.

I'm going bananas over this and then people say "Chill" just think of other important things like where you are going to study, or where you will work.. really, not how the fuck i came to exist, or why ! oh wait, this is not the important question.. sorry

you should see it like this; if you had a child and you would raise him/her without religion without growing up learining there is a god, he/her wouldn't believe in such a thing he/her would say wtf are u talkin about...
we were all raised learning there is a God..

the mistake we make here , is that we compare GOD To humain beings , God Is not like us ,he's completely different We don't know anything special about him ,even the fact that he actually think or not ,our brain have a limit we just can't see things over that limit!for us ,according to our limited brain if something is existing there must be a creator, which is not the same thing for God cauz he doesnt have any limits, So what i think is that there's no way he will Ask this question: he invented the word "Existence" .

It seems a fairly sensible question to ask. I guess if there is a god and they are omniscient then they already how how they came to be.

I'm always bemused by the self righteous condescending believers who think they have stumbled upon this incredibly profound idea that 'the universe didn't just come from nothing, there HAS to be a creator' when really if there is a god, then the question is only once removed from 'well what created god then professor?'

The only real answer is we just don't know.

  • Maybe IF there is a god he has a god who has a god who has a god... And the last god was just like a bit of bacteria that time travelled and made gods? I dunno reallllyyyyy tired & this hurt my head ): x

The Christian Bible says that god has always existed. I personally think that is another clue, because they don't know how God was created either. I think that the people that believe in God want something bigger to exist, to know that their life means something. In my opinion (I'm not very religious) there would be no morality with out the foundation that there is a God out there.

Maybe just like people, there are also many gods, each created his own universe, and they all pray to the uber-god.

    Who knows...

It's sort of like the double mirror effect, where if there was a God who created us, then it would be logical to assume that there was a God who created God, and a God who created the God who created God and so on and so forth.

From my perspective, if I was in God's position then I would certainly wonder who created me on occasion, but it wouldn't be that prevalent in my mind.

We will never or athleast nearly never know for sure if there really is a god or something that could be close to being a god...

But God is eternal, meaning He has no beginning or end. So would that mean He created himself?
