I really hope you're not asking this because you're pregnant and fell on your stomach.

It's unlikely anything bad will happen.

The baby is floating in what's essentially a liquid-filled balloon that's surrounded by a layer of muscle and at least a thin layer of fat under the mother's skin. Also, the baby is free to squidge around if something pushes on it from the outside.

It's obviously sensible to pay attention to things like persistent pain, amniotic fluid leakage, bleeding and reduced motion by the fetus after a fall. If any of those things happen, medical advice should be sought, but being pregnant shifts the centre of gravity of the mother forward, so falls aren't uncommon and usually nothing bad happens.

I dunno but its a sure sounds like your mother did.
