If you survived, how long would you survive for?
Pretend World War III happened and there is no longer any Internet or electrical grid and the world's population has been suddenly reduced to half it's original size. Realistically, how long do you believe you could survive and how would you do it?
Things to consider:
- access to resources like clean water, food, and medical supplies.
- community involvement; urban areas will be a different experience from rural areas.
- physical fitness (being underweight, obese, or having a medical condition could impact your physical abilities in a world with limited resources)
- social aptitude (history dictates that social bonds allow humans to survive)
- survivalist skills; if you're fortunate to live somewhere rural, these skills could be handy.
- horticultural experience; keep in mind you cannot go online to look this stuff up.
- self-defence skills
- climate; winter does come once a year to many places.
