Is it normal -- extreme gas after stomach bug?

I'm not exaggerating when I say I've farted over sixty times just today (huge, loud and terrible smelling). I've been nauseous and weak for the past three days, and only had one day of constant vomiting four days ago. Is it normal to have extreme gas and bloating four days after catching a stomach bug?

Bottle some of it and send it to the IIN Lab for analysis.

Alternatively, she could label it as gas of a certain celebrity and sell it on eBay.

      Can't you just see it?

      - $1,000 for Bruno Mars'
      - $10,000 for Oprah's

      And so on.

        Lol.
One bottle of Oprah gas could level an entire city block.

It probably is normal. After all, stomach bugs reek UTTER HAVOC on the digestive system!

I don't ever remember having gas in conjunction with stomach bugs, though. It was always either vomiting, diarrhea, or both. I spent SIX HOURS on the toilet, having the latter, the last time I had a stomach bug!

Have you seen someone for this? I'm concerned about your health.

Are you eating again after the stomach bug? And drinking plain water?

The gas will go away, probably by the time you read these responses

Yep, the awful gas is part of it. I had the same thing once. The farts were so bad, I had to open a window and even that did nothing to air out the room. Though they weren't as bad smelling as the gas I got from eating a large bag of trail mix. But anyway, the gas will go away soon, so it's nothing to worry about.
