The only place that I could find saying that Cadillac, MI has 100x the national average of ALS cases is on Wikipedia. Although it would make sense seeing as Cadillac, MI has a significantly higher percentage of whites and a slightly higher percentage of elderly which are both things that have been connected with ALS. Cadillac is also has a lake name "Lake Cadillac" that does experience blue-green algae blooms that has been reported with other "hotspots", but hasn't been confirmed as a cause of ALS.
