Is it normal dreaming about present or future of other people

I often dream about present or future events of other people lives (mostly relatives or friends) even if I don't have any contact with that person (indeed I also live in another country). This events happen to be real. I'm not even a religious person and I'm very skeptical about it. But nonetheless I often have this kind of dreams. Is it normal?
