Is it normal every few days a piece of ear wax falls off my ear?

Once a week, a piece of ear wax will fall off my right ear. Or both ears will itch, and when I scratch them, there's ear wax left on my fingernail. Does this happen to anyone else?

      Second that motion. Extra wax could indicate infection

    There needs to be more description as to what the wax is like. Is it a small piece or are you pulling out a crusty wad the size of a pinky nail?

    I saddly have a family member who is always freaking out about every small medical thing. So I've learned a few random facts. And I can be normal for you to have a little extra earwax. But if it is a bit more than that and or if you think it might be affecting your hearing well then get it looked at.
