I find it really irritating when people assume everyone can just go home to ma or pa. When some of us had to escape severe mental and physical abuse and you are basically asking us to relive hell. Whats worse is even people who kno of the trauma make these kind of suggestions. Your car broke down, you got laid off, ur homeless, you getting evicted. Like are people really this dense?

    Let me turn the tables on you here..

    Not everyone has a dysfunctional relationship with their family and you can't expect the majority of people to understand when the norm isn't your reality.

    A lot of people born into nice families are incapable of comprehending that not everyone’s parents and siblings are as lovely as theirs.

      Yeah. Even my family is So SuPpOrTiVe. But I describe them as giving the shirt off their back and using it to set you on fire. Fuck that. I’ll be poor.
