Is it normal fan gets rid of stuffy nose?

I can't sleep without a fan being on, otherwise I will get a blocked nose. The moment I turn my fan on my nose goes back to normal and is all clear, but if I turn it off a few minutes later my nose will become stuffy again. I've tested this multiple times.

Is this normal? My nose only does this at night, it's fine during the day. Because of this I also have to have my fan on in winter. (It isn't that bad though because I don't live where it gets really cold and it doesn't snow here)

    I'm the opposite. If it's on, I can't breathe through my nose

    The fan is drying out the mucus membranes in your nose, you probably end up with cotton mouth by morning as well I would assume.
