Funny thing about being a tyrannical party host is that suddenly no one wants to play anymore...

I get what you were aiming for, but being extra precious doesn't get you anywhere.

Well this is the worst fancy dress party ever. No one wants to dress up except for one person who is already a captain of a ship and wants to dress up as a captain of another ship.

I'd probably dress in the black and purple dress I bought and help myself to the food. I'd be too shy to approach anyone to dance. It's not like I know how to anyway. lol

    Okay then I'll eat a whole eight pound bag of Sour Patch Gummies, put a mask on my face, dress like a piece of cheese, and run around in a hyper state while fondling people's butts and asking them who stole my fox shaped coin bank. Seriously, someone took my coin bank full of pennies. I don't care about the pennies, I just want Katharine(my coin bank) back!

I usually go as the captain of the Titanic as I already have the uniform. Just add a name tag, set my tie askew, dishevel my hair and bingo, one very distraught boat captain.
My natural wild eyed look doesn't hurt at all.

    Your theme is vague and misleading. Ive been to a "fancy" party and second hand shops were where you went. Being fancy doesn't mean famous. And who has the money for that?

I have a really cute little black dress with tiny white birds all over it. So cute. I'm still on the lookout for a pair of black t-strap Mary Jane type heels like the ones I had :(
