yeah he's masturbating. duh.. tell him that you heard him spanking it and watch his face turn red.
Why is it such a big deal if people, especially men, enjoy their showers? I range anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes depending on various factors
I like taking showers because its relaxing and sometimes I will stay in there for an hour.
I think he's probably just relaxing in there and not doing anything. So it's normal for him to relax in the shower but 25 minutes definitely seems a bit too long for that.
Seriously, what's the big deal? I've been known to take 45 minute showers.
Is he an engineer/computer programmer? He might be getting his head straight for his impending work day. This can especially be the case for engineers with showers that have clear glass doors. When the door fogs up due to the steam we like to write our problems from work on them and pretend we are trying to save the world.
Most teenagers I know actually sleep in the shower. They get up really early, and then finish sleeping in the shower. My brother, on the weekends, can be in there 6 hours some days. BTW, your fingers only get so wrinkly, it peaks at around an hour or so in there.
I, on the other hand, HATE long showers. I take cool, 2-15 min. showers, depending on my mood.
I do see it as a waste of money, but I also know hydrotherapy is very good for peoples sense of well being and little aches and pains as well...
I end up taking about a half hour to shower, idk despite trying to be quick it just takes a while.
My usual routine:
Wet me hair and body and run a comb though it, in case of flakes or debris I may have picked up from hiking. I hike regularly.
Put shampoo in, massage it, shave my face, I have a bathroom mirror so I do shave in the shower. Wash my body with soap, rinse out the shampoo.
Repeat shampoo and soap process, run a comb through my hair again.
Then I'm done, I dry off and get dressed in the bathroom before leaving.
I think generally females take awhile since most of them have long hair. I don't understand why anyone with short hair would take this long in the shower. Unless you are saying the man has very long hair. Especially if the long hair is like in my family where everyone has extremely thick hair.
Down under in the outback, shower nozzles have a sliding button that can pinch off the flow to just a drip. Only use full force for rinsing off. Pour a pitcher of water over your head for final rinse if you are a female with long hair. Whilst living there, I would take 20 minute showers with only 32 liters of water.
I'll take a lot longer than that but I sure as ain't just washing my body
Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with taking a long bath or shower, male or female, unless there are other people in your household who you're depriving of hot water.
There was this one time where I had to shower to get ready to go out, and my mother had used all the hot water doing laundry. Anyway, that's slightly off topic.
I think that it really depends on the individual, the showering time that is. Personally, it takes me around 20 minutes from the time I get in the bath, until the time I am out of the bath and dressed, and I have long hair which I was every single day. I also wash the bath after I've used it.
I knew this one guy once, who literally took 3 hours to get ready to go sleep at a friend's house. THREE DAMN HOURS. This guy had incredibly short hair too, like, too short to even grab with your fingers kind of short. I wondered what the hell he did for three hours, because not even I take that long to get ready, for anything, and I have make up to apply and hair to style before going out.
no that's a dreadful waste of water! almost as bad as the ice bucket challenge! please donate to my save water campaign
Sounds about right to me.
Mine are usually about 20 mins but it's normally about 6am so I spend the first 5 minutes just waking up.
Plus I have a buggered back & neck so like to "soak" under the shower...
& it's relaxing so why rush?
In Australia, we're kinda conditioned to having very short showers for water conservation. 3mins is the suggested maximum time. I can get everything done in that time, even washing long hair and shaving...but I usually take longer. Especially when it's cold. Even then, more than 10mins seems excessive to me.
That's insane to me. It takes one minute just to get my hair wet. And then rinsing takes several minutes. I think the shortest shower I could take would be around seven minutes. And forget shaving...not that I care much about that.
Seven's pretty good. I'm pretty thorough with 3-5, including washing face and body...hair I only wash every few days now and shaving isnt usually at the same time as hair. Or I turn the water off. Idk how many people stick to the three min thing. Probably just the environmentalists...which is a fair amount of Melbourne hehe. Though I'm terrible cos I undo any good i do with short showers by wasting it with dishes :(
Didn't forget, but they must have huge water heaters. Even at 60 gallons, that's only about 20 minutes at normal land water pressure, and I believe a normal home water heater is only 30 gallons. Or did you think the hot water came from the municipal supply?
Except more water is being heated as the 60 gallons is being depleted. It's a math problem there, old buddy.
Most heaters use an element that really can't keep up with demand. The cold water mixes with the hot, which is why it cools slowly, but unless you have a demand unit (usually propane powered and no tank) the electric ones cannot make hot water fast enough, which is why they have a tank. It is indeed a math problem.
I'm not sure how big my heater is but mine will last about 30 minutes on full heat. If I turn it down it will last longer. I also have it set to a lower heat so it is never scalding. You can run your hands under the hot faucet wothout being bothered a
Sounds like shitty heaters to me. Guess we just have better ones. My uncle has been known to take hour and a half long showers that presumably dont go cold.
