I have had a hairy ass since high school. When I was in college I was self-conscious about this because I thought it might turn off girls.

So I started shaving my ass during freshman year in college - at first I tried doing this in the shower, until I accidentally cut myself with the razor. After that I started using an electric razor in my dorm room when my roommate was at class. It was more effective to use the electric razor, although it did leave little ass hairs on the floor. When I accidentally dropped and broke my electric razor, I borrowed my roommate's beard trimmer to shave my ass when he was in class - luckily he never figured this out!

Is it normal for a man to shave his ass?

    Its normal .I have also hair on my ass. And also hairs in my ass crack and near anus. Girls like hairy asshole.

    hehehe I never shave my ass. I always clean it very well after take a dump and even hairy, it smells like a normal ass... find a girl who likes real men with everything we have.

    I voted normal. Most guys in my area shave their body hair and the only hair they seem to keep on is their head and face. There's nothing wrong with it.

    This sounds completely normal minus the using your roommates beard trimmer to shave your ass hair! You should call him and apologize for that behavior. Especially if you're still friends. You should also offer to allow him to do the same to make amends.

      No, I haven't spoken to him in years. But he did spill a cup of Mountain Dew I was drinking once when we were roommates, so I figured he owed it to me to allow me to borrow his beard trimmer

    You're going to have to continue doing that now, I hope you know that. It starts off just as a little curiosity, but it snowballs out of control pretty quick. If you start messing around down there, the hairs start coming back thicker and longer. You should see my ass now when I don't shave. It's like a beard is growing out of it man. I would suggest talking to a counselor about this, because it can turn into an addiction. Take it from me, don't go down this road.

      In the building I work in there is a special ass shaving counselor on staff. You wouldn't believe how busy they are.

        Things could get really bad for this guy. It could turn into expensive waxing sessions and crying while staring at his asshole in the mirror. And he's already cut himself once. If you cut your balls open, the testicles would fall out of the cut and be exposed to the air. He would then have to have them removed. That's why I won't let my grandma near my ball sack with a razor ever again. Her hands were just too shaky. She meant well, but I think it's best to just let her iron my shirts instead.
