Is it normal for a manager to accuse you of being tired

My manager at my (now former) internship has the whole last week accused me of being tired which I am. She walks up to me at random and says "god you look tired today, are you tired?" and i'm like "yeah kinda" and she says "wow you look REALLY tired, one can REALLY tell when you're tired because it REALLY shows..." Is this normal because I think its very rude?????
I have little social energy. I get depressive episodes and I can barely get out of bed i've also had a migraine for a week.
But ive shown, done my tasks really well and made more of an effort to look nice than most others even bother to.

I think you were justified in thinking what she said was rude. Some people say this as a low-key insult about another person's appearance. Looking bright-eyed and cheerful and enthusiastic is generally considered a positive thing, so looking tired is obviously the reverse. It's not too much of a stretch to say that she was calling you ugly. It was definitely judgemental at a personal level, and as long as you were performing your appointed tasks as required, your energy level and state of mind were really none of her damn business as your manager.

It really is a stretch to assume she's making a rude comment about the OP's appearance by just saying she looks tired.

She's just having conversation with you. It's no different than someone asking you "Are you okay? You don't look so good." or "You look like you're in a good mood today."
