Is it normal for an adult to always think about childhood memories?

I'm 30 and my life is pretty terrible right now and I always reflect on my childhood memories, in my opinion that's as good as it's ever going to get.

It could be worse you could have terrible childhood memories and then there wouldn't even be that nice stuff to remember.

But I think talking about whats wrong now is really the more important thing, so whats going on?

Yes because adult life sucks. Remember the days when you didn't have to pay bills.

"Memories"? I thought you said "Mammaries"!
That changes everything. My original reply doesn't make any sense now.

Why do you think that? What's so terrible now?

alcohol really does make people extremely sentimental because it takes away your right brain almost completely (which holds the process of logic, analytical thinking, judgement, etc...) and leaves you operating with the reptile brain aka left brain. long story short, i have done the same thing many times: reminscing and missing old memories while drinking. if i wasn't broke, i would drink too all day.
