Is it normal for an ice-cream truck to play the same song everyday

So I moved to this neighborhood probably about 5 years ago

There's an ice-cream truck that comes by almost everyday(with the exception of holidays, and some random days that are most likely a relatives birthday)

This ice-cream truck play the SAME SONG EVERYDAY AND NEVER CYCLES THROUGH TO ANOTHER SONG

I used to think "how do they not get annoyed of hearing the SAME 15-20 SECOND LONG kids song on loop EVERYDAY!?" but now I've just come to accept it and it no longer bothers me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So basically...

...I've been listening to the same 15-20 second song get looped nearly everyday since I've moved into this neighborhood

(Do other ice-cream trucks do this too? Every other neighborhood that I've lived in before, the ice-cream tucks would alternate between different songs)

    I think it is the law that they have to have a specific song, assigned by the business license office, for a given neighborhood so the police will know if they are in the correct assigned neighborhood.

    As far as I know, all icecream trucks in Australia play Greensleeves, but I have no idea why

      Do they still operate? I haven't seen one since I was a kid in the early 90s?

        Very occasionally in the summer I hear one a few streets away but it never bothers to come up the very steep hill I live on. I reckon the people who used to operate them are now running coffee vans all over the place.

    That's actually pretty normal in my town. What bothers me is when they come down the block at 1AM. Then again, there are still small children out at that time, so I shouldn't be so annoyed. XD

            A part of me has actually tuned it out.
            Parents around this area are very neglectful with their kids and pets. Everyone here is used to it.
