Is it normal for another man to rest his knee on yours?

(Male) I was on a plane yesterday and the guy next to me in the middle seat fell asleep and his knee moved over and rested on mine. We were in coach so I didn't really have room to move my knee away. When he woke up he kept his knee against mine. Because he changed position I was able to move my leg away slightly but his knee returned to mine shortly after and pressed slightly harder. This guy was a complete stranger and I think he was quite a bit younger than me. We never spoke or made eye contact during the flight and he walked off the plane without any acknowledgment. What does this mean and is it normal???

I hate guys like that and people who go around taking up too much space in general, it's selfish and rude!

It's hard to find a comfortable position on a plane, he was probably just trying to spread his legs out as much as he could. Still pretty rude though, but fairly normal as people are often rude

I think he was getting a slight thrill. If it made you uncomfortable you should have said something.

Maybe he was gay and trying to flirt? Or maybe he was really out of it and didn't realise. Exactly what acknowledgement were you looking for?? Did you want him to wink and say thank you for the knee rub? All this was a straight guy post till that last sentence...which is making me think you liked it?

Thanks for your replies. I forgot to mention that when he changed position he woke up, so fully conscious. Strange...

It means he fell asleep and had no control over his body while he was a sleep.

    It's not a science rocket.
