So I work retail sales and everybody knows that the public in general hate sales people, but is there a secret agenda in the public for people to wait until 5 minutes before a store closes to decide to "shop" just so they can make the sales person work way past quitting time? What a bunch of assholes. The public knows that most sales people work on commission and don't earn a fucking dime if we stay late to let you "shop" and you don't fucking buy shit. So WTF? is it normal for asshole people to do this to all sales people or I'm I just the lucky one?

    Indians wait til the very last minute because they are selfish arseholes. Put your watch 10 minutes fast and tell them you're closed.

    Yeah this is normal. Whether they're doing it to intentionally piss you off or if they really needed to do that last minute shopping is up for debate.

    It just seems like that. And it happens too. But no one is trying to piss you off. All you can do to get these people back is ,after they have wasted your time and want to leave , be super nice and keep talking to them thus holding them back form things that they find more important than talking to you.
    If it really really bothers you get another job where this can't happen ;)
