Is it normal for cannabis to remind you of things from your childhood

I take Cannabis oil but I’ve started getting flashbacks of things that happened to me when I was a child. It’s stuff that I knew deep down was real but I guess I’d repressed it over the years. Now that I’m getting these flashbacks it explains a lot of my thoughts and wild behaviour. I never had this reaction from cannabis before so I don’t really know what to do about all these memories. Is it normal for Cannabis to do this to you?? Has anyone else had this??

    My mom used to smoke pot when i was young, and sometimes when people walk past me i can smell it and i know they've been smoking it.

    Oddly enough, not only has that happened with me, but lately, I have been getting these wierd "memories", where I find "myself" at some point in history, before my actual time.

    "In one, I was a fugitive in the late 1940's, in a white Dodge truck, and my partner stops by a cemetery road. He looks at me, tells me out at gunpoint. As I step out, I look back, and I see that wooden trunk, with all that bank dough. A shot goes off, and it slowly fades to black. "

    In another, I am a young man in a blue Army jacket, with a bunch of other terrified young men. The Indians close in on us. I go to save one of my brothers in arms from a injun's drawn bow, but I feel the arrow rip through me, and I say some words before it fades away.

    It was strange.

    I remember random stuff when I'm high. Couldn't tell you why other than the cliche 'it opens your mind' and all that.
