Is it normal for high school to be a blur of mostly useless info and drama

OK so I'm a freshman and I'm about halfway through the year and OMFG the year has been a total blurr of random info and drama. I don't understand. I should be remembering these times as the best but it's just crazy. Like it feels 2 months ago I came outta the womb and now I have to learn the square root of 64. Comment what you think about this and maybe your experience with highschool. Thanks.

The square root of 64 is 8, and I suck at math.

My high school years were far from the best years of my life, and to be honest my freshman year was awful.

I remember high school. Getting taught useless crap that you would never use in real life. The only reason I stuck it out was because every employer thinks you're a loser if you never completed high school. Bill Gates was a college drop out.

High school was mostly useless but I stuck it out to get my diploma because if you don't have it employers think you're a loser and won't be able to learn the job or bail on them because you have demonstrated you aren't able to finish what you start.

Just have fun, don’t screw anything you’d regret and by all means...graduate. It’s all downhill after that. Enjoy.

High school for me was my hood and I used to cause trouble, skip classes, be a clown, defy authority, get suspensions and other crap. I had fun! After a while I became smarter and still was making trouble without failing in class. But goddamn it! Maths, I just can't understand that shit. And yes it is useless to know that square root shizzle unless you are applying to get into science-math program in college.

I can't remember most of my highschool year. I usually found myself auto-piloting and just walking to my class then pausing and getting confused of where I was going. School is useless, But take it from me, It's best to listen and follow and get good grades so you're free. Try getting extra credits too and pursue what you love the most in any extra free time you can!
