Is it normal for my contacts to feel like this on the second day?

Okay, so I got contacts yesterday, and before I went home, they gave me a quick test to see that I could see good. My right eye was 20/40, so they changed the prescription. But they didn't change my glasses prescription. Now when I switch out of my contacts, my depth perception is off. I'm not sure if this is because my eyes are adjusting, or what. Also, I'm not seeing as clearly from my contacts as I was from my old glasses. My contacts are clean. Sorry if I confused you, I can elaborate

It took me a couple weeks to fully adjust to my contacts. When I first got mine I couldn't drive with the window down because they would dry out. I couldn't drink because they would dry out. I couldn't drive at night because the reflectors in the highway gave me 3D vision. It's been a few months now and I don't have these problems anymore lol...
