Have you heard of poetic licence? That's what "sweet as nectar" is in this case.

If you read that phrase somewhere, the author has either never actually tasted a real woman's vaginal secretions, or they're writing romantic erotica and they hope this cheesy cliché will make their female readers feel more positive about their bodies.

If someone actually uses it while performing cunnilingus on a woman, then they either have read a lot of cheesy romantic erotica, they're so into the woman that this is what they actually perceive, or they're attempting to make the woman feel good. (Personally, I've always found that incoherent, appreciative grunts and groans work just as well.)

A healthy vagina is slightly acidic, and it's kept that way by lactobacilli bacteria. These bacteria crowd out potentially harmful bacteria and the acidic environment they create makes life difficult for yeasts and some types of nasty bacteria. This is why vaginal douching is not a good thing; it upsets the natural balance, and while a woman who has swallowed the advertising BS may feel cleaner in some vague way after doing it, it's actually increasing the chances of something unpleasant happening in her vagina.

If vaginal secretions were high in sugars, the warm, moist environment of the vagina would be ideal for the growth of yeasts. As any woman who has ever had a yeast infection knows, they are very definitely Not A Good Thing.

Your vaginal secretions are slightly salty for the same reason your sweat is salty. The glands in your vaginal walls that produce the secretions are similar to sweat glands, and when they extract moisture from your saline blood, some of the salt comes across too.

Tastes and smells are notoriously difficult to describe, and I have no idea why you perceive your vaginal secretions as "chemical". I suspect it's because the taste and aroma are due to a whole range of factors, so trying to pick out the components and describe them would get into all the weirdness used by wine freaks when they describe the taste and aroma of a wine.

As long as your vagina isn't itching or uncomfortable in some other way, and as long as you don't have an unusual discharge with a strong smell, I suggest you leave your vagina alone and trust it to get on with doing what evolution has designed it to do. The smell, taste and texture of your vaginal secretions will probably change as you go through your monthly cycle, but however it is at any particular moment, that's normal for you, and that should be good enough for anyone else.

Horny people are notorious liars. A lot of them describe cum the exact same way, even though there's nothing appealing about the taste of cum either. It's just romanticization

Then again semen does vary in flavors depending on what you ate before. More protein = bitter more sugar and vitamins = sweeter factual evidence not anecdotal.

Yeah but even with a good diet it's not like it'll taste actually good. Just less bad

Theres a chewing gum that makes your sweat smell like flowers. There needs to be a guy that figures that shit out and invent it for use in cum flavor. Or take the viagra route and it was just happenstance that a drug had that effect.

What if you could implant a beehive in your testicles to make your cum taste like honey?

My testicles dont work anyway and I would want to see how it would work.

Also good question. Could we make completely artificial organs that do random things? Or would that just be manufacturing a helpful cancer?
