I'm 19 now and I get attention from guys in their 20's, 30's, 40's, and even older! It probably started when I was around 13 and it really confused and creeped me out. I don't mind guys that are older but if you look like my dad it's just awkward. I don't get why they are looking or talking to me like they think they have a chance. Gross!
Any married woman who believes older men looking at young girls and having sexual thoughts about them are 'disgusting', better take a look a little closer to home.
You know your husband isn't like that? No, you most certainly do not! As long as a man has a sex drive, he'll never fail to look at an attractive young girl in a sexual way.
Don't be so naive as to ask him straight out as he's sure to give you the answer he knows you want to hear and he WILL succeed in putting your mind at rest. But if you seriously believe he isn't looking at those pretty, young girl breasts and that pert little derriere in tight jeans whilst having the most lascivious thoughts about her, safe in the knowledge that you have no idea he's doing it, then you're also seriously (and pitifully) deluded.

The simple, irrefutable truth you'd better get used to, my darling, unpalatable as that truth may be, is that one day, you'll be a middle aged woman, married to a middle aged man. And he'll look at girls the age you are now (you may well even have daughters the same age by then, but that won't make any difference) and he'll strip them naked with his eyes and fantasise about fucking them.
Them's the rules! Listen to all the waffle you like and believe it if it makes you feel any better. But, make no mistake - you may think it's 'gross', but if you want a world where men aren't wired up to want to fuck without any regard for morals or emotion, irrespective of their marital status and the undying love and attention they heap on their beloved, then you'd better start looking for another planet!
Take comfort that they give you attention unlike others who can't even get attention at all
Yeah, I apologize on behalf of my gender. I'm 25, but I still feel a bit disgusting when I catch myself staring, or god forbid you catch me staring :O That said, it's pretty normal. I wish women were wired as dirty as men! Theirs only this one older lady (like, could be a grandma) at my work who hits on me. She's actually quite attractive for her age and she's single. She is far more blatant about her advances then any man I've ever seen. She grabs my arm in hers and feels up my bicep and chest. If it was an old man doing that to a 25 year old girl he would be fired for sexual harassment. As it stands, I find it adorable and don't mind it in the slightest. I'm not trying to complain about society or double standards or anything; I like the attention and you don't, and that's fine. I'm just saying that men are wired one way and sometimes have a difficult time understanding that you are wired a different way.
No one bats an eyelid when famous or rich men indulge in women of 19 or there abouts. And usually these men are well over 40.
I do see people looking at these couples and I know they are thinking he is wrong but if they are men they are just jealous cause he has what they want. If they are women they are also jealous cause she has what they want $$$
It's normal for them to find u attractive but not to try and pick u up, that's just creepy
when she's 20, 30 or even 40 will it be creepy for young male to look at her or ,God forbid , try to pick her up?
I'm a girl. I've experienced this. It's not just a normal look, it's a stare and it's rude. It's really weird especially since it happens pretty much all day, every day.

I would like to say it is older women who give me this look and I do find it creepy.Even if they aren't that much older they are still older and unless they are really really special dmmt stand a chance and shouldn't offend me by looking.
Its completely normal for them if you don't want there attention ignore them they'll get the hint... or they won't.
Men aren't bad for finding young WOMEN attractive, but they are disgusting and offensive when they stare or gawk to a point they are making a woman feel uncomfortable. You do not have to get use to this and you do not have to walk around in a sheet. Dress nice but modest. Do not wear shorts that have your but hanging out or wear shirts to show off your cleavage because you will not like all of the attention. If a man is making you uncomfortable and won't stop staring (even if he is with a wife or girlfriend, look at him in the face, say to him loudly "stop staring at me, you are making me feel uncomfortable." That is what every girl/woman needs to be taught. It is not okay for a man to harass you. He can help it and it is not your fault unless you are going out of your way to seek sexual attention. They will reel in this behavior if we stop letting them get away with it and acting like they are entitled to disrespect us.
It sounds like you are somewhat attractive. Maybe try dressing down to hide your features when you go out. (Sunglasses, hoodie and track pants)
I have generally fancied 19 year old women continually since I was about 14, 35 years ago.

I think you're completely on point about this! Those much older guys who are leering at you are creeps and disgusting pigs. I remember how much that sort of attention disgusted and grossed me out when I was your age, I feel for you and my heart truly goes out to you!
As far as I'm concerned the best part about being in my 40s is getting some peace and respect. I also think that now that I'm older I'm less afraid of hurting or offending some jerk or having someone not like me or think I'm some kinda bitch. Nowadays I honestly don't give a shit what some asshole thinks as long as he leaves me the fuck alone.
If someone sexually harasses you at work please feel free to go to Human Resources! It really is disgusting how unashamed, forward and entitled some men are, and you have my complete support.
Some things that can help you feel safer and more confident are working out, especially weight training and martial arts!

It's still not an excuse. A 38 year old modeling photographer made a pass at me when I was 19, a human resources manager tried to make a pass at me when I was 20 and the list goes on unfortunately. I didn't appreciate unwanted attention 25 years ago and I still don't appreciate it today. I think the business about physical beauty shouldn't be an excuse to be inappropriate with another person.
Just looking is one thing, but leering and actually trying to touch or make a pass at at unwilling person is something completely different.
looking is innocent and maybe they even think they are doing it surreptitiously. but hitting on is a different thing and harassing of course :). if you are 19 years old is it really disgusting to get attention from guys age 20-25? i mean there is hardly age difference there :O?
well said. Less than a hundred years ago in USA , Europe, Australia etcetera gt was 100percent normal for a man of 45+ to take a bride of 19 or younger. In many many cultures it still is

No, 20 to 25 isn't a big deal when they person is 19, but 40 is a big deal and it's disgusting.
