Is it normal for ones ears to itch after eating lot of sugar?

I frequently eat at a buffet. I try to get my money's worth, so after eating a good meal of healthy nutritious food I have a plate full of dessert; pie, pudding, cake, ice cream, and a couple cookies or a Rice Krispie bar. Shortly afterwards my ears start itching and they itch like crazy for a couple hours. I wonder if it's the sugar, or the sugar substitutes in the dessert, or am I ODing on sugar, or what? Anybody else have similar experiences?

Perhaps if you didn't try eating sugary things with your ears, this wouldn't happen. Your mouth is there for sugary things as well as other foods.

I was going for a Guinness record. Obviously that's not working out so well. Back to the drawing board.

Even if it doesn't make your ears itch, that's far too much sugar - eating nutritious food first doesn't mean it's healthy to then pig out on unhealthy stuff

Yeah, that's what my wife keeps saying. She says I'm gonna get diabetes, and I tell her then I better enjoy my sweets now, while I can.

Please go and check your blood sugar. It may be a sign of diabetes.

Thanks for the advice. My blood sugar gets checked every year at my annual physical and it's always good. As I said, I eat a lot of sugar at the buffet, but I don't pig out on sugar all the time.
Most of the time I eat pretty healthily

It's probably all the additives in the buffet food and people touching it sneezing it putting it back. I don't do buffets any more I always get sick.
