Is it normal for people to ask complete strangers out on a date?
My boyfriend and I are both together at the CVS pharmacy picking up our prescriptions and the employee behind the counter just blatantly asks my boyfriend out on a date right before giving him his prescription. My boyfriend says a simple "no thanks", pays for his stuff, and we get out of there. I kind of felt like saying something, but I didn't want to get the employee in trouble. My boyfriend and I laughed it off on the way back home in the car. It did leave my boyfriend wondering what the heck is the point of asking someone you've only had a few seconds of contact with out on a date. I've had similar encounters with customers at work and I still didn't have an answer to his question. Is it normal people do it?
