For some reason, in the country I live in, it seems that people are constantly whinin over how lame everything is here and how much cooler every other country is. Is this phenomenon unique to my country, or is it the same where you guys live too?
I think it's healthy to accept that your own country isn't the greatest in the world and to admit all of its faults. It's the same with admitting your own faults. It's the the first step to making things better. Some people though are just blind to reality when it comes to their patriotism.
Yes. I think that many things are crap in my country but overall I like it. Some things would need a serious change though but that's how it is in most places.
I'm actually really glad I'm Canadian. I'd have a lot more to complain about if I lived in the US.
