Hi everybody. I invited a friend to sleep and I really do not have a extra bed. I was thinking to let him sleep in my bed with me.

Yes. I don't see why not. If neither of you are awkward about it, it would be fine.
(I mean, if some guys aren't bothered by their roommates walking naked around their apartment, I doubt they'd be bothered by sleeping in the same bed shirtless.)
I wouldn't mind sleeping on the floor. It also depends on the size of the bed and how good friends you are. But generally, it would be awkward.
You don't own a couch? or some kind of air mattress or futon?
My opinion is that, how good of friends are you? If you are straight and you are as close to certain as can be that he is straight, it's probably no big deal.
However, if he gets the wrong idea from your invitation that's a whole 'nother can of worms.
I suppose this is a judgement call only yourself can make. But I guess it's no harm in looking for advice.
