ok, so we have two computers and 1 laptop and a ps3 that is hooked up to the internet. the laptop and one of the computers work decently fast on the internet (as does the ps3) but the silver one is soooooo slow. its only a little fast on certin days. whats up with that?
Either the computer itself is slow or the other computers are using all the bandwidth.
Yeah maybe your computer just sucks. Might wanna get more ram. Also if everything is using the Internet at once, obviously it will slow down, especially if your playing online games and downloading stuff. Another possibility is that other people could be using your Internet. Hope you got a password on your router.
Could be the computer, or possibly the time of day you're on the Internet. Remember there are times when half the world is asleep, but there are also periods when MOST of the world is awake at the same time!
It could be the amount of free memory on the computer. That dramatically affects the speed on a computer. My desktop has 78.9 of it's 80 gig memory taken up. The Internet can be incredibly slow.
Go to google and search the difference between shaped and unshaped access you dork.
