How absolutely childish and uninformed you are.
If you were an adult, were you better off financially under Dubya's reign of lunacy?
For your information, old chap, Darktown seems quite mature and intelligent based on the other answers he has given on this site.
Obama may not be a monkey, but he is a stupid president. Honestly, George Bush was a man of reason, divine intellect, and kindness. He gets so much unnecessary hate for no reason.
It's interesting how much respect you have for a man who lied to the country to get us into a pointless war which cost thousands of American their lives and many times that severe injury. Never mind the hundreds of thousands of non Americans who were displaced, killed or injured for no good reason.
If THAT's someone you respect, then you probably think Hitler was the savior of humanity, too?
Every politician lies, its a pre-requisite for the job. That being said, what you describe as a pointless war, I disagree with. Sure the liberal media made a huge deal about not finding WMDs in Iraq, doesn't mean Iraq, under the leadership of ruthless dictator wasn't constructing, researching or otherwise moving forward to doing just that. Let us also not forget the oil issue. The oil in Arab countries is a global resource, if those tribal countries could just get their act together enough to realize that the world would be a better place. Unfortunately they are still ass backwards when it comes to understanding this and rely more on fundamental religion in everyday life rather than actually thinking for themselves. We (the world) need oil to survive, every industrialized country does. Do we have plenty in reserves? Sure, but thinking strategically means it is prudent to plan that perhaps a conflict or other calamity will force the nation to use those reserves and until that happens the oil in Middle East is a global resource.
I'm also confused, didn't you live on a boat in the Caribbean? I guess you suddenly flip flopped again to become an advocate for the oppression of the Iraqi people? A people who were far more oppressed and brutalized under Saddam Hussein than anything the presidency of Bush caused them to experience.
It was none of our fucking business who was the leader of that country.
Furthermore, you are apparently extremely misinformed about Sadam's regime. He would not allow Al-Qæda to operate in his country at all. Now the place is a training ground for insurgents from all over the world. Our invasion only cut off our nose to spite our faces and is the biggest mistake we have made since abandoning the Afghanis to their fate after promising them support.
I love how you right wingers fabricate things to prove your point, like the WMD thing. You are still saying they were there, but we were just too stupid to find them? You do know the definition of insanity, don't you?
Your post makes it quite apparent you've read and accepted the tea party propaganda, but haven't done the tiniest bit of independent research on the subject.
Way to be an informed and responsible adult!
GE is a private company, not some state entity that the government can interfere in.
If you want Obama to create jobs like fixing up the shitty infrastructure, well sorry mate, no can do, that is socialism.
