My boyfriend admitted he likes big hair like was popular in the 80s. I have naturally unruly hair and I've spent a lot of effort to tame it ( straight hair was all the rage when I was growing up ). He loves when my hair looks messy and poofy, should I just go with it and be and be glad or should I keep the look that I like which is more polished?

    You must have grown up in 2002-2003... every girl had pin straight hair in 2003. I think in Canada Avril's popularity had something to do with it.

    It's your hair so wear it how you like, but I love unruly hair. Not so much the 80's hairspray look, but naturally big hair. You may end up liking it natural. At least it would save you some time trying to make it do what it doesn't want to do.
