Is it normal hole on top of bum?

Okay so a month or so ago I found out that I had a hole just above my crack, it had pus around it and bled out so I went to the doctors and got prescribed some anti-bacteria wash thing.

After a few weeks using it the hole got smaller and did not hurt anymore, didn't bleed or have pus in it.

I've still been using the wash daily because the hole IS still there, but I thought it was fine until today. It bled out again a second time, there wasn't much blood as the first time (there was so much the first time it went down my legs) but still quite a lot.

The blood was bright red, when it started to slow down it looked slightly pink on the tissue paper? The two times it has bled is only when I stood up from sitting down on a chair. Should I go back to the doctors again? Do you think that I would need a operation to seal the hole up? I'm just really worried, I thought it was getting better and I'm getting a bit stressed out. Also sorry if I grossed out anyone, I'm just getting a bit panicky :(

    Pilonidal cyst. They typically come back forever. A friend of mine used to get it a lot and my grandfather has told me his story a bunch of times.. Doctors can drain and pack it or you can do it yourself I guess.

      So there's no way to stop it forever? Even if I have a operation :'(?

    go see the doctor again, my mum used to have one of those and i think she went to get it drained

    I've read about such things. There might be an ingrown hair stuck in there, preventing it from healing. Ask your doctor, its not normal!

    yep defo worth another visit to the docs.. if a doc tells you to do something and it hasn't cleared up in a few weeks, go back and tell him to get his act together, he makes enough money ffs
