Is it normal i always seem depressed

I never checked to see if I was "diagnosed" with depression but I am sad about 80-85% of my life. Something always gets me down no matter what I am always getting her by friends or boyfriends sometimes family I always felt less important. Sometimes I feel like I just mentally break and I scream on the inside I cry I just lose it for a good 20 minutes every now and then. But maybe I just can't let go and let everything build up until my body decides to break. Is this normal? Should I look into seeing a doctor?

Being unhappy for 80% of time is not normal. Even if people are being jerks to you, you should see a counsellor. I would also suggest swimming as it have always worked as a good stress buster.
I wish the best to you.

If you even have to ask if you should see a doctor then the answer is pretty obvious. Go see one.

Then go to the doctor. Boys are not everything and neither are friends. They will not follow you into adult life nor will they do anything to better your future so stop worrying about them. I honestly think you just have your priorities skewed and it's all thanks to teen hormones. That doesn't last forever either and you will grow out of it so don't overthink everything so hard. Believe it or not, these are not the most important years of your life-- except career wise. Keep your grades up. Nothing else matters and don't be mind fucked into thinking it does.

Do you have any hobbies or interests that you pursue? Do you create anything, workout and study to improve yourself? This is the source of fulfillment, and when you don't have it you will hate yourself.

I play many instruments I write I sing I bake and I cook. I work out sometimes but it's not an everyday thing, I've experienced a lot of heart break in the past year and loss and I feel like that plays a role in this as well, because it gotten so bad in 2016.

How old are you? I'm assuming you're a young woman, and hormones are a factor. I'd suggest visiting a doctor before a therapist to make sure everything is in order. And of course it never hurts to check.
