Is it normal i am a 16-year old male and like my little pony

It was about four years ago that I first came into contact with anything affiliated with My Little Pony, I believe the figurative seed was planted when a girl in my 6th grade class was drawing ponies, or something of the sort, and she asked me weather I like MLP. Wishing not to made fun of I replied, "NO, of course not !", and at the time, I sincerely didn't. Later on though, I decided to watch the first episode just to see what the show was about, and what made it appeal to others, and from then on I was hooked. I watched the first three seasons in a relatively short time and then stopped watching roughly the time when Twilight became an alicorn. By then I was acquainted with the Mane-six, the most popular fan fictions, and a healthy deal of MLP-based music.

Skip ahead about three and a half years now. It has been a while since I watched MLP, ( for whatever reason I decided to stop watching after Twilight became an alicorn, not that I disliked the change, I just left off watching the show for a while ), but the other day, just for the fun of it I decided to catch up a little bit. I watched a few episodes from season six, and I was impressed by how far the show went while I was gone. Now, I am perfectly straight, but I find myself liking a show whose target demographic is for little girls, and I think that the ponies are cute. If I had the chance, I would love to simply pet Fluttershy or Rainbow Dash softly while they sit beside me looking at a nice sunset near my house. I feel better after watching an episode of MLP, and it really speaks to me on a level that other shows simply do not.

Is this normal ?

I'm a guy, slightly older than you. I used to be into MLP. Now I'm a huge fan of Steven Universe.

Who gives a shit what people say? Nobody gave my female cousin shit when she was a huge Ben 10 fan, so why should you care how your favourite show is gendered?

I'm 24, and a Brony. I first got into it in 2012, discovered it via an image board for furries, that was starting to get a lot of work from MLP, and I noticed that some of the people on the board were being rather nasty towards the Brony artists, as well as bashing them and the show. There were also people, both Brony, and (non-brony) furry who were defending the show and the Brony artists. I was the latter. At the time, I didn't know of the show, but I did like the artwork from them, and would defend their right to be there. The Mods there sided with the Bronies, fortunately.

In time, I learned of the show that spawned the pony work, and curious as to what the drama was about, I watched the show, and I was hooked!

Still enjoy the show and the community 5 years later.

When Im with another dude especially when I was in my teens Ive loved wearing a bra and pair of panties and a wig and lipstick and pretending to be a girl while I'm sucking big dick I started the girly thing when I was 11 and me and my boyfriend would spend the night together so we could suck dick the whole night I was 11 and he was 12 we have also had dicksucking parties with a few other boy cousins which we started doing when I was 11 and me and him started sucking dick with a Few older cousins who were 14 15 And 17 all their dicks tasted so good and they loved having us suck their cocks and would have us do as often as they could

Watching MLP is normal and you shouldn't be ashamed of it.

Observing the comments section, I see a lot of nasty comments which reflect the polarization of people's opinions on this matter, but also acceptance on the part of people who are more open-minded.

People are quick to attack those who deviate from liking typical shows, especially when there's somebody watching a show which at face value might appear to be for little girls. Why should they though ? Many of the shows people nowadays are entertained by are gritty, violent, charged with immoral plot lines, and to be honest, not as funny as comedies that existed but a decade or so ago.

If you find solace in watching a show that might appeal most to little girls, who cares ! Children's shows teach a more compassionate outlook on life, and I find them often more engaging than shows made for adults.

Fine, but I wouldn't publicize it. Keep it to yourself. We all have our own guilty pleasures. I had an in-law who's son, also 16 or 17, was into my little pony, and, once it got out..Wow, the ridicule and judgement. Didn't help that his mom kept buying him the toys, either, but, this kid was verbally ripped to shreds about the whole thing.

Had he or his mom kept it to themselves, nobody would have known. Stuff gets out, and, yes, it's going to be judged, heavily.

What the fuck is an alicorn?

And what the fuck is My Little Pony MUSIC? No, I don't actually want to know.

You will be ridiculed. It is not normal outside the freakish internet.

An "Alicorn" is another name for a winged Unicorn. They have both Pegasus wings and a unicorn horn, and combine traits from all of the pony races.
