Is it normal i am afraid i am running out of time to date ?

Coming up 28 soon and I feel if I don't meet anyone special before age 30, I'm doomed! My youth is going fassst...before I know it ill be 28,29 and then 30 looking down the road to 40.
Thanks to lockdowns and all that crap, I haven't obviously been able to get out much. I also have always felt like I have no real direction in life and have gone with the flow.
I'm worried and can't change a lot either financially as well as the current state of the world.
Some people tell me not to stress and that ill meet someone when I'm older and other people tell me I'm running out of time so which is it ?
