Is it normal i am making a statue out of a dead cat?

I found a dead cat in the woods behind my house yesterday. I took it home to clean off the bones and superglue the skeleton back together to make a statue. I thought it was really cool but my friends seemed bothered by it. The people in the spider fanatics and centipede enthusiasts group thought it was cool though.

    Sounds cool. My uncle found the remains of a huge sea lion (similar to a walrus about 8' long) and pieced it back together in his shed.

    I've never been into taxidermy but, it's not like you harmed the cat. It should be fine just, don't let it be in the presence of your friends anymore.

    I'm pretty sure that cat was restless and its owner didn't want to play with it so it died from neglect.
