Is it normal i am this intimidated by my boss

I am a female aged 23 and work as a model, my boss/agent is so intimidating to the point of making me uncomfortable to even speak up when talking to her, she has this presence and has big hair and she's absolutely gorgeous. She is extremely nice and considerate but just I dread the days when I have to report in for a gig because she's there in all her fabulousness and I just shrink and become tense.

    You are in this position for a reason , I wouldn't focus on her . I bet you are beautiful and don't need to worry about comparison .

    She's NOT your boss; she's YOUR employee. She works for YOU. All agents work for their clients. She get jobs for you, not the other way around.
    If those hiring you for a shoot wanted her, then you wouldn't be there. They wanted you, so relax and enjoy.

    You seem like an ok lass.Dont bring urself down.You are where u are for a reason.It wasnt handed to you on a silver platter.Just focus on doing ur job and doing it well...who knows,maybe upon seeing ur dedication and hardwork your 'boss' might strike up a genuine friendship with you.

        In America a lot of them end up hooked on drugs or with body dysmorphic disorder.
