Is it normal i automatically think the worst of mod messages on any site?

I'm not a trouble maker. I don't troll, I don't harass people. In general the only time I break any rules of a site, are because I either forgot, or I had a moment of being stupid.

So the thing is, whenever a moderator messages me, I automatically, like on reflex assume the worst. After all Mods never seem to just give a friendly hello, it's always about; "You did so, and so, and bla bla, ban warning."

I hate getting Mod messages so much, that I've deleted two profiles of social sites I used to be on, because a Mod one day messaged me out of the blue. I was like; "Well I'm not about to get bitched at, because of something stupid."

Anyone else ever feel this?

    HAHAHHA. Mods are usually powertrip idiots, it's fun to fuck with them.

    Totally normal to ignore the message.
    Deleting your profile so you don't have to deal with them, though?
    Why even bother?
    If you ignore them and nothing happens, then you're good.
    If you ignore them and get banned, it'd essentially be the same as deleting your profile.
