Is it normal i can't play both hands together on piano

I can play the left hand perfectly; I can play the right hand perfectly. I can play them together but only slowly, and then I cannot multitask because I concentrate on one more than the other. I've practised and practised for ages to no avail, but one finger always goes to the wrong key and I get frustrated to the extreme. I guess some people aren't meant to be musicians, and I should give up despite my passion...

  • It just takes a lot of time. I am uncoordinated to where I spill my drink half the time, but I still play piano really well. I have been playing piano my whole life though. Its not a talent that develops quickly.

    Is masturbation affecting your life?

Agree. I would say it was rather mean that you need to practice more on your coordination. It's like learning how to tell your brain to instruct both of your hands at the same time: the left brain instructs your right hand, and the right brain instructs the left hand.

How long did you practice for?

There are certain parts of songs that I can't play note for note since I have short fingers, but I improvise. Also, if you can't play very fast then find songs that have a slow tempo.
